LANDRY TRIES TO SELL CENTRAL QUEENSLAND A LEMON

May 11, 2017

Just like a dodgy car dealer who winds back the odometer, paints over the rust and tells you the car’s brand new, Michelle Landry is trying to cover up how much of a lemon this Budget is.

It would almost be funny if it wasn’t so disappointing for Central Queensland.

In a fact sheet the Member for Capricornia circulated to local media yesterday morning she claimed that the Budget delivered “great opportunity to fund infrastructure projects” in Central Queensland.

That’s politician speak for “there are no new infrastructure projects for Central Queensland in this Budget.”

In fact let’s have a look at how many infrastructure projects are new in this Budget, compared to old projects that she has dusted off and tried to pass as new.

New Projects announced in the budget

This budget is a lemon. It’s yet more proof that Michelle Landry is not up to the job of fighting for Central Queensland.

A FAIR GO FOR AUSTRALIA
